Luana Serrat

Aerial artist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater at Universidade Federal da Bahia. Luana is the daughter of Anselmo Serrat and Verônica Tamaoki, who inaugurated Escola Picolino de Artes do Circo em Salvador, in 1985. When she was five she started doing cortortion acts. In 2007, she inaugurated the Luana Serrat Company with the shor "Moças Aéreas" (aerial girls). In 2007, she formed the group Fulanas, which presented the show "Histórias contadas de cima". In 2012 and 2014, she was awarded Prêmio Carequinha for the show "A rádio do seu coração" and Prêmio Fundação Bunge for the intense and important participation in the circus arts. respectivelly.
