Acrobat, clown Beleche. He is a descendent of the Vasconcelos family who ran a sugar mill in the State of Alagoas, Northeast Brazil. When he was twelve, he ran away from home and found a circus in which the magician Azevedo was performing. He was adopted by this man who provided new legal documents for the boy. Years later, Francisco married Rosa Fernandes Azevedo who was not part of a circus family, but she started rehearsing tight wire and cloud walk with him and performed in various circuses. After having fifteen children, only nine survived. They inaugurated the Circo Os 9 Irmãos Azevedo with Francisco, Aluisio, Heloisa, Frank, Afonso, Anapuru, Conchita, Orlando and Estela Azevedo.
