Itajobi, São Paulo, Brazil, 1939

Acrobat, actor, trapezist and clown Romiseta. He beongs to the third generation of the families Dantas, Benelli and Blask. His parents are José Blask and Aracy Dantas Blask, who taught him Portuguese and Math while his grandparents Manoel Dantas and Josefina Dantas taught him acrobatics. He made a debut at age five at Circo Simões and then performed at Mocotó (owned by Mocotó and Piara), Sudan, Rosario (owned by Antenor Pimenta), Circo-Teatro América (Mário Benelli), Irmãos Bocutti, Circo Teatro Ayres, Circo Teatro Liendo, Norte-Americano, Circo-Teatro Nhô Pai, Motinha e Nhá Fia, Universal (owned by Massimo Bernardi) and Garcia, in which he acted with the clown Miniatura. Romiseta worked for Circo Beto Carrero and Play Center as an artistic director and ran Real de Paris Circus. He also acted along with Mazzaropi in the film "Betão Ronca Ferro" and appeared in many TV programs. Since 2010 he leads clown workshops for Centro de Memória do Circo, Sesc and Government projects in São Paulo.
