As a juggler, he performed with his brother Petrucio in Circo Argentina, owned by the Segura family. He also performed at Circo Garcia for five years. Geraldo married Rita de Cássia Medeiros, sister of the artist Zé Maria. They had two children who also became jugglers, Beto Romero and Willi Romero.
