Magicican, musician. In 1913, he toured with Circo Sarrasani in Europe. There, he started performing as a magician with the artistic Mexicano and afterwars as Lio Shan. Then he got a contract at the Angentinian company Hugo del Carril to perform in South America. During the tour, Lio Shan married the artist Telma del Sol. Both left Argentina and came to Brazil to work for the circuses Bocuti, Irmãos Savalla and Pavilhão Pequin. It was in the State of Mato Grosso that the couple set up the Circo Trovadores do México with their three children: José Roberto, Paulo Vitor and Maria Luiza Perez. In 1965, Lio Shan returned to Mexico, however his family remained in Brazil, working for other circuses and amusement parks.
