As an equilibrist, she performed ball balancing and ladder acts (ladder with bottles). When Circo do Balalau arrived in her hometown, she and her eight siblings including José(clown Chupão), Etelinda, Maria and Sebastião Coutinho - joined the company. Odila married Vergílio Adriano.
