Cesar Aparecido Ribeiro Guimarães

São Paulo, 1962

Trapezist and clown "Beijinho". In 1982, he went to USP for the first year of the Visual Arts program. Coming from the fifth generation of the Alves family of trapezists, he is the son of Orestes Ribeiro Guimarães and Haime Del Duque. His maternal grandfather Liberto del Duque was an actor but only became well-known in the circus as the clown Bombinha after he married Amaides Alves. Cesar had his debut at age six in the Circo Teatro Guaianazes owned by his grandfather, performing in the play "Maconha o veneno verde". He acted also as a catcher in the troupe Irmãos Alves. He married Jaqueline Pepino. They had two children who became professional globists: Bruna and Arthur Pepino Guimarães.
