Acrobat, actor, equestrian, juggler, scenographer, teacher. He owned Circo Pavilhão, in which he incorporated horses and dogs in shows. Serafim was known as a circus innovater when he started using a stage in his circus to present plays. A few of them "Véspera de São João","Na roça" and "A Guerra de Canudos".
