She married the Hungarian artist Edmundo Fekete in Brazil with whom she had ten children. Two of them died at a young age and the remaining eight became professional artists in Circo Irmãos Fekete: Jeovany, Emília, Elvira, Alberto, Sandor, Emílio, Eduardo and Isabela Fekete. Adelia is the grandmother of the artist Wilma Fekete. Wilma’s husband, Walter Carlo, teaches at Escola Nacional de Circo in Rio de Janeiro since 1992.
