Armand Jean Joseph Doffiny

He was an athlete in Belgium when he started performing on the bar and training animals. A few years later, he married Marie Therèze Coubert Doffiny. Together they moved to Brazil and purchased Circo Belga. They had four children - Armand, Marcel, Olga and Albert Doffiny- and the whole family worked together until 1940 when the circus closed down.
