Adir Cordeiro

Knife thrower, ringmaster, equilibrist, cyclist and clown Mosquito. Son of Antonio Cordeiro and Helena Vieira Cordeiro he is from the fourth generation of the Cordeiro family. His great grandfather Antonio Luiz Cordeiro owned a circus. Adir had his early education with a private teacher while he was also learning circus arts with the clown Tremendão. Soon after he starred in the comic rola-bola. Before owning Circo Barcelona, he performed at the circuses Neves (owned by China), Columbia (owned by João and Maria, in southern Brazil), Maranhão and Circo Vargas. Apart from his artistic career he taught contortion, unicycle and comic acts at Escola Oficina in São Paulo.
