Acrobat, equilibrist, contortionist, trapezist, equestrienne and actress in circus theater. Iracema is the daughter of the circus artists Luiz Gonzaga and Salvina Gonzaga. She was born in the circus of her Godfather, Domingos Teixeira, where she debuted at six doing contortion acts, and later performed at Anglo Brasileiro, Arca de Noé (owned by Luande), Gonzaga (owned by her family), Pinheiro (owned by Aristides Pinheiro), Soares (owned by Salvador Soares), Politerpsia (owned by Antonio Tavares) and Circo Teatro Show Altair (owned by Altair Zanicott), until 1974.
