Horacio Campelo Flores

Knife thrower, juggler, equilibrist, musician. Campelo belongs to the second generation of the Savala family from Peru. His father married a descendent of the Savala family, whose most famous artist was the clown Carequinha. He was also known as Índio Paraguaio Campelo. Her performed knife throwing and lasso and whips dressed as an Apache indian in many cicuses in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. When his father died, he and two brothers inaugurated Gran Circus Campelo, a big circus with animals. The partnership lasted from 1979 until 2000. Due to the success of his son who was acting as the clown Fuxiquinho, Campelo inaugurated Circo do Palhaço Fuxiquinho.
