Acrobat, equilibrist. Her parents' families come from Spain and Germany. Her father worked at the champagne factory Peterlongo in Caxias do Sul, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. There she met Augusto Teodoro Batista, while he was touring with his circus. He was looking for a place to house his animals. Her father offered him a shed on his small farm. Regina married Augusto and they started a family of circus artists.
