Acrobat, comedian. His parents are Anchizes Pinto, known as the clown Faísca, and Thomazina Stella Pinto, as well as grandson of Galdino Pinto and nephew of the clown Piolin. Ankito was born in a circus and started performing at age seven. He was always a master of comedy. In 1941,at age seventeen, he won five South American acrobatic championships. By the time he moved to Rio de Janeiro to perform at Cassino da Urca as part of the acrobatic duo Vicky and Anki. Soon after he started acting on theater and then in filmas. The artistic name Ankito was given by the actor, Juan Daniel, the father of the actor and tv director Daniel Filho. Due to the naive and funny character he created, he had a very successful career acting in more than thirty films, such as É fogo na roupa, in which he would only appear, but was invited as one of the leading roles on it. At that time, the Atlantida's comedies had Oscarito as the main character. Herbert Richers then decided to produce several films with Ankito and Grande Otelo, who left the comic duo with Oscarito. Among the films are Metido a bacana;De pernas pro ar (1956); Garota Enxuta (1959) and Um cadango em Belacap (1961). He also acted in humoristic tv programs at Tupi, Record, Bandeirantes and Globo stations; in the soap operas "Gina", "A Sucessora" and "Alma Gêmea" and in "Sítio do Pica Pau Amarelo". Ankito married Denise Cascais.
