Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, Brazil, 1940

Acrobat, trapezist, equilibrist, globist, magician, musician and clown. He is the son of Joao Rodrigues Barbosa and Joana Rodrigues Barbosa, both first generation circus artists in their families. He studied elementary school in the circus. At age ten, he began acting in theater plays and at twelve he started performing acrobatics and dandis, as well as ladder acts and teeterboard. During his career he performed in many circuses, such as Sinval, Salles, Scalli, Garcia, Vitrolinha,Windsor, Moscou and Mundo Mágico Beto Carrero. Jefferson married Norma Sbano.
