Actor and clown Perereca. He is the son of Manuel Ferreira da Silva and Wenceslada Landa and is part of the fourth generation of Landa family. He was born at Circo Irmãos Landa where he started performing as a clown at age nine with his sister and actress Azuréia da Silva (Cassinelli). The circus belonged to his maternal grandparents, Thomaz Landa and Ana Cândida Landa. Alaor performed at the circuses Irmãos Bocutte (1939), Irmãos Landa and Colonial (1940 a 1942), Irmãos Mattos and Toledo (1943-1945), Iracema Bortoli-Cassinelli and Orlandino Leite (1945-1955), Pavilhão Moderno de Alcebíades (owned by Tamburro and Paraguaté) and Circo Ypiranga (owned by Francisco Colman). Even though he had a government job in the Ministério do Trabalho (Ministry of labour), he was able to administrate his professional and artistic career at the same time. rom 1955 to 1973 he owned Pavilhão Nosso Teatro. Alaor married Zelma Tavares in 1954. The couple had seven children: José Manoel, Lúcia, Mário Lúcio, Alaor Junior, Donato, Mateus (clown Pampam) and João.
