Elisa Savala

Acrobat, wire walker, equilibrist, icarist and trapezist. She is the daughterof José Rosa Savala and Teófila Savala and is part of the second generation of the Peruvian Savala family. At the age of five she started doing contortion and at age fourteen she married Osorio Portilho, with whom she had a son named George Savala who later became well known as the clown Carequinha. Elisa stayed widowed and married Lázaro Gomes who adopted his son and gave him the last name Gomes.
