Ballerina. She is the daughter of the Swedish couple Carlos Riego and Marta Dalk Riego and belongs to the second generation of the family. When she was ten, they came to Brazil touring with Alexander Lowand Company where her father perfomed as Hercules-heavy objects manipulation. Esther married Benevenuto Silva in 1928 and they had six children in the circus: Yvone, Charles Barry, Edmundo, Raquel Silva, and the twins Vilma and Milla. After the death of Benevenuto, she married Manoel Pires and had one more daughter named Ely Silva.
