Dover Marques Ribeiro

Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, 1944

Actor, trapezist. His father owned the Circo Irmãos Tangará, where he and his older brothers learned acrobatics, juggling and flying trapeze. They went on to form the well-known Troupe Tangará of trapezists. Dover and his nephew Carlinhos were the flyers while Durbis was the catcher. Before performing in the circuses Orlando Orfei, Tihany, Garcia and Águia de Ouro, Dover also sang, danced and played guitar in circus-theater.
