Acrobat and jumper. Son of Francisco Azevedo and Rosa Fernandes Azevedo, Afonso was born in Circo Irmãos Azevedo and is part of the second generation of the Azevedo family. Afonso married Lurdes Ramalho, his partner in knife throwing acts. Their four children became artists: Saionara, Jefferson, Tabajara and Caubi Azevedo.
