Acrobat, trapezist, perchist, equilibrist. He is the son of Albino Carvalho Portugal and Regina Manzu. He started on the trapeze at age ten and later iperformed at Circo Charles Barry. After this he owned and worked at Luso Brasileiro and Bremer until 1971. He married Cininha Portugal.
