Spyridon Pinter

Piraeus, Greece, 1930

Acrobat, magician, wire walker. Spyridon is part of the third generation of artists in his family. His grandparents and parents Emilio (Emerich) Pinter and Penelope Pinter, were ll amgicians in Greece. He made a debut at age eleven, in the WWII, as a partner in objects manipulation. In 1951 he came to Brazil and started working as a Phylosophy, History and Physical Education teacher in schools in Rio de Janeiro. Then he taught at National Circus School. Spyridon married her partner Erlinda Aguiar Pinter (1933).
