Beto Pinheiro
Roberto Pinheiro

Campo Limpo Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil, 1956

Owner of Circo Di Nápoli. In 1969 his brother, José Carlos Pinheiro, ran away from his hometown, Campo Limpo Paulista, to work for Circo Giglio. Soon after, Beto Pinheiro decided to join his brother and began to work in many activities in the circus before they created a comic duo. They then started presenting in Circo Húngaro before inaugurating Circo Tuzar. The tent was made from denim scrap material which came from factories in Borda da Mata, Minas Gerais. A few years later, they covered the tent with melted wax to make it waterproof. In the 1980s, the Pinheiro brothers changed the name of the circus to Circo Di Nápoli to honor their Italian ancestors.
