Antonio das Neves

Antonio came to Brazil with his uncle in 1890 and then married Benedita Neves, daughter of a snake charmer. The couple had nine children who all became artists: Arethuza, Aristides, Guimoar, Oscar, Arthur, Jurandir, Alzira, Antonio e Gisela Neves. All of them studied French and finished junior high school with a private teacher in Circo Arethuza.
