Marcondes Marques Barroso

Ceará, Brazil, 1927

Globist. He made a debut when he was twelve performing on the trapeze and in perch acts, as well as an actor and acrobat. From 1942 to 1947 he worked for his instructor Altair Zanicott,  who has baught a globe from Leonardo Temperani. Afterwards he performed at Circo Garcia (1948-1949) and in United States, Cuba and Mexico from 1949-1956. He also owned Golden Circus with his brothers, where they formed the trio Irmãos Marcondes for almost thirty years. Besides being an artist, he taught aerial acts at Academia Piolin and was also vice president of Abracirco - Associação Brasileira de Circo (Brazilian circus association). Marcondes married Hilda Querido.
