Contortionish, trapezist, actress. When she was a child, she worked picking crustaceans in the mangroves of Recife, in the State of Pernambuco. In 1952, she won a competition at Circo Democratas and in 1953 she joined Circo Itaquatiara where she performed ladder acts. Later on, she was a contortionist at Gran Londres Circo. In 2006, she was given the title, Patrimônio Vivo de Pernambuco for her work in favor of art and culture.
