Hand-balancer. He made a debut at age eight doing contortion acts in the circus of the Sepúlveda family and then became a professional artist at Circo Nerino, where he also performed adagio and roller skating, as well as bar, fire eating and trapeze. He worked for the gret circus in South America, Brazil and until 1990 and also owned Circo Joy. Joy married the acrobat and ballet dancer Vicky, who performed at Teatro Colon, in Buenos Ayres, Argentina. They had two children: Segio Alejandro (acrobat) and Nairyn Nancy Nereida da Silva.
