Jefferson Cardoso de Brito

São Paulo, 1959

Magician, illusionist. When he was eleven, he started teaching himself magic from the "Tratado Completo de Prestidigitação" (a collection of magic acts) which he bought from a newspaper stand in downtown, São Paulo. At that time, he worked as an office boy and in his free time he performed magic at shows and on TV programs. He made a debut at Circo Spacial (1985-1987) and worked for the circuses Di Roma (1988-1991) and Di Itála owned by Roberto Robattini (1991-1993) where he performed metamorphosis trunk, levitation and sword box. He was also contracted by the children's program, Bambalalão da TV Cultura (1989), Show de Calouros no SBT, Programa da Angélica at TV Manchete and in the program of Leão Lobo at TV Record (2000). Later in life, he started presenting traditional magic acts in his own unique way to companies in the United States, Brazil, and other countries in South America . Jeff also performed in the Serra Pelada mines in the State of Pará as well as for the international artists Jean Claude van Damme, Tina Turner and Paul McCartney.
