Acrobat, trapezist, juggler, equilibrist, tamer and clown. He is he son of Salvador Gonçalves Canton, known as Salvadorico, and Ruth Shmockel. He made a debut when he was fourteen performing juggling acts. Then he worked for Vosok, Circo-Teatro Ayres, Coliseu di Roma, Di Carlo, African Woala Circus and Di Mônaco. In 1969, Pardal married Silvia Gomes Gonçalves in the town of Itamogi, in the State of Minas Gerais. The couple had four children. All of them circus artists: Ana Paula, Roberto, Marley and Aparecida Gonçalves. He is he author of the book Circo, o maior espetáculo da minha vida (circus, the great show in my life in a free translation).
