Actress, trapezist. When she was fourteen she left home and joined Circo Atlântico in Recife, in the State of Pernambuco. There, she started acting as a singer. Laura married José Ferreira da Silva Filho when she was still a minor. He taught her circus arts. After a year rehearsing she debuted on the flying trapeze and in ladder acts and went on performing at Herval, Pavilhão Azul, Circo-Teatro Regina (owned by Vasconcelos), Circo do Pinto, Olimecha, Tchais, Átila, Norte-Americano and Circo do Dudu until 1954.
