Don Seppel

Driver and boiler operator in Germany before World War II, Don Seppel joined Circo Sarrasani - owned by Truddy - which toured through Argentina and came to Brazil in the 1960s. He performed the act, taxi maluco, which is said to be created by him and it became famous in almost all circuses throughout Brazil. Seppel worked in the circuses Hong Kong, Americano (Pavilhão Azul)) and for an artist named Vilaça. From 1983 until 1994, he was in charge of the warehouse for the National Circus School. He died two years later in the Retiro dos Artistas (Retirement home).
