Wilson Almeida

Guaimbé, São Paulo, Brazil, 1958

Acrobat, lion tamer, trapezist, perchist. He is the son of Antenor Gomes de Almeida and Leonor Beruzo and comes from the second generation of the Almeida family living in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo. He made his debut performing on the trampoline. Wilson married Ioiri Teresinha Mocellin and they had two children: Michelle and Jorge. Circo Vitória was inaugurated in the 1930s by Wilson's father.
