Clown and owner of Circo Dallas. He attended primary school at Colégio Estadual Inocencio Gois. His mother, Emerita Lago, was a circus artist. He became fascinated with the circuses which came to his hometown and he set up a homemade circus in his yard, acting as the clown "Isplicadinho" (well explained). Soon after he started performing in ffarmers markets, clubs and circus with bulls. He made his debut in the arena of the Tapajós brothers, with whom he later worked on an electric float during the Brazilian carnival. Chupeta has been acting as a clown for fiftty years but financial problems forced him to find a job. He worked for the businesses SIAM -Sociedade Industrial Americana de Máquinas and Nadir Figueiredo, São Paulo, as well as for Petrobras and Equipetrol in Salvador, Bahia. He also worked at the radio stations Brasil, Cruzeiro and Bahia and later owned Holliday Circus. Chupeta married Maria Aparecida de França. They had four children. The family has been working together for four generations.
