Trapezist. She is the only person of her family to appear in the circus. Before studying aerial acts at Circo Escola Picadeiro in 1986, she attended two acting schools: Escola de Arte Dramática at USP – University of São Paulo and Macunaíma. As a trapezist she performed at the circuses Big Circo Roma, Moscou, Stankowich, Bartholo and Miami Fly Neves; however, in Circo Chambinho she acted in corde lisse as well as flying, double and static trapezes. She partnered with the magicians Dossel, Cirus and Ari, and also with many juggling students who went on to become professional artists. In 1990, Abyara took part in elephant acts with Danilo Stevanowich. From 2006 to 2012 she toured with two international circuses. Besides the circusring, she worked for Clube Escola Pelezão, a social project that prepared youth for the Escola Nacional de Circo. Since 2012, she has been teaching circus classes at Academia Competition in São Paulo.
