She was born at Circo Teatro Sales, owned by Balalau, and debuted at age eleven acting in plays, flying on the trapeze, corde lisse, aerial hoop, walking on the wire and contortion acts. She also acted with the clown Piquito (osmar dos Santos) in various circuses, such as Circo Teatro Auricam, Joana Darc, Riam, circo do Lambari, Alhambra, Aloma, Rombini, Circo Teatro Irmãos Moiano, Rancho Alegre, Circo-Teatro Ivonete - owned by Ivonete Ayres, one of the first globists in Brazil-, Circo Teatro Latino-Americano, Carlito and Circo Brasil 2000. Since 2006 Maria Aparecida is the comic and director of Circo Teatro Di Sales.
