Carequinha e Fred
This was the first comic duo to appear on the Brazilian Movies and TV in the 1950s. The duo was made up by George Savala Gomes (clown Carequinha) and Fred Vilar (white faced clown). In 1949 they met at Circo Olimecha and went on performing in the Circo Atlântico and Alumínio, belonged to a german company in the Praça Onze (Onze Square) in Rio de Janeiro.
