Clown, trapezist, handstander and ventriloquist. He has a degree in Technical Drawing. Son of Ovídio Mello e Alzira Varela Mello, Cacareco is part of the second generation of the Mello's. He performed at Circo-Teatro 8 Irmãos Mello and for five with the clown Carequinha in the TV TUPI network, which became defunct in 1980.
