Marion Brede

Bayreuth, Germany, 1949

Trapezist, hand-balancer, juggler, comic, musician, equilibrist, polyglot. She is the daughter of the German artists Horst Brede and Margot Burket. When she was fourteen she started acting as a dancer, magician and trapezist in Europe. The family came to Brazil in 1968 touring with Circo Orlando Orfei. Later, Marion worked for Tihany, Di Roma, Moscou, Garcia and Vostok. In 1994 she moved to Campinas and started working as a circus instructor for young people.
