Ivanildo Bezerra

Pernambuco, 1939

Cyclist, globist. He and his friend, André  Pé de Ferro started performing acrobatic cycling in the streets of Recife, in the State of Pernambuco and some years later, both became circus artists. Ivanildo was a cyclist champion in Pernambuco. He made his debut at 26 in the circus of Rui Lima and then performed at Bartholo, Robattini, Tropical (owned by Rudi Leite), Halley Circus, Norte-Americano, Danilo, Águias Humanas and Coliseu Argentino. In many of them he acted with the cyclists Gilberto Torres and the brothers Jair and Jaime Temperani. He also took part in the programs of the clown Treme-Treme (1962) and Circo Fratelli Vita, at the Radio Comercio station, in Recife. Ivanildo married Ligia de Souza Bezerra.
