Equestrienne. She is the daughter of the circensian Alexandre Luande, owner of the Circo Equestre e Ginástico Companhia Luande. Alice married the Brazilian poet Fagundes Varela in 1862 in the city of Sorocaba, São Paulo. Their son died after three months.
