Acrobat, clown. He is the son of Albano Pereira and Juanita Pereira and became the most famous clown in Brazil. Circuses worldwide wanted him in their shows all dressed up to perform somersaults on stilts.  In 1917, he inaugurated Circo Alcebíades which also had a soccer team and a newspaper. Later on, Circo Alcebádes formed a partnership with the clown Piolin and the circus was renamed Piolin-Alcebíades set up in Largo Paissandu, downtown São Paulo. After a few years they went their separate ways which made the fans very sad. Acebíades was very handsome and a fashion icon loved by the audience. He formed comic duos with the clowns Puxa-Puxa, Fura-Fura, João Minhoca (his brother and ringmaster), Camelo, Chico Lambança, Tico-Tico and Fuzarca. Alcedíades married Ester Ozon. Their two children Albano Pereira Neto and Ondina Ozon Pereira became artists.
