Raul Pinto

São Paulo, Brazil, 1895

He is the son of Galdino Pinto and his brothers are the clown Piolin (Abelardo Pinto) and Anchizes Pinto. He belongs to the second generation of the Pinto family. Raul married Clotilde Mane Pinto, who was the daughter of the japanese acrobat Takessawa Mange and Aida Beltrami, the equilibrist. Their son, Abelardinho (Abelardo Pinto Sobrinho), became a well known acrobat and perchist. He taught circus arts at National Circus School in Rio de Janeiro.
