Walter Seyssel

Acrobat, actor and clown Pimentinha. He is the son of Paulo Seyssel and Leontina Seyssel. He started at age two as the clown "Espirro". Walter performed with his uncle, Arrelia, in the defunct television station, Paulista, in 1953 and then in Record television until 1976. He played different roles in dramas and comedies and was also known for his ability to imitate accents from several languages. This led him to work as a voice-actor. From 1976 to 1980 he and the clown Torresmo performed in a children's program which aired on Cultura television. In 1980 he moved to Itu, in the countryside of São Paulo. Walter adopted a classic style of acting, influenced by the European clowns. He had the custom of wearing a cone-shaped hat, yellow shirt and trousers with suspenders. Walter married the wire walker, comic and singer Amélia Rocha.
