Equilibrist, trapezist, actress. She is the daughter of Lourival Santoro and Aracy Faya. Her paternal grandparents are descendents from the Italian Santoro family of acrobats; the maternal grandparents are the Spanish artist Luiz Faya and his wife, Júlia Pimenta. She made her debut at age five walking on the wire and afterwards performing ladder acts and roller skating. Loriete married Rui Bartholo whith whom she had four daughters: Jaqueline, Rui Junhior, Ricardo and Jane Bartho, all of them professional artists.
