Actor, clown,  businessman, owner of Circo do Topetão. His father did not go to school, but always encouraged him to study. Topetão lived in the favela Vigário Geral in Rio de Janeiro. He studied theater at Centro de Artes Calouste Gulbenkian. When he was fifteen he joined the National Circus School, specializing in cycling and clown. Since then, he has been very successful throughout his 25 years of working and performing in the circus. Children love his stories, books and DVD's. He performs throughout Rio de Janeiro and also in Europe. Topetão is the founder of the international group UPLEON which tours in Germany, Sweden and Finland. Most of the artists in his company came from social projects such as "Crescer e Viver", "Afro Reggae", "Se essa rua fosse minha" and Escola Nacional de Circo (National Circus School).
