Her parents owned Circo Irmãos Marques and is the daughter of Célia Cabral Salqueiro. Her artistic life began in her childhood performing various circus acts. In 1964, Wanda married the Italian actor and clown, Primo Julio Zanquettin, and together they ran Circo Zanquettin. Wanda taught circus arts to her ten children and all of them became professional artists in the State of Rio Grand do Sul.
