Trapezist, ballerina. She finished up through high school. Her parents are Juan Carlos Yglesias and the ballerina Amalia Veon Yglesias (Cordoba, Argentina, 1934) and Elis is part of the fourth generation of artists in her family. Her grandparents are Raul Decia and Dally Palacios. She started on trampoline with Antonio Cajueiro and made her debut at twelve performing on the flying trapeze and lasso and whips.
