He is the son of Toninho Stankowich and Altamira da Silva Stankowich. Together with his brother Márcio he runs Circo Stankowich, one of the oldest circus in the country with descendantsin the fifth generation. When he was a child he started acting as an acrobat, juggler, trapezist and tamer. In 2001 he was elected the best tamer of the year. Marlon married Carla Sepúlveda, a descendant of the Sepúlveda family.
