Equilibrist, trapezist, globist, clown. He studied elementary school in the circus with the private teacher and artist, Eulália Barrilari Tápia. Later,  and later his parents Orlando and Eva Dutrahe enrolled him in a a public school. He started started practicing acrobatics with his uncle Pirajá Azevedo when he was a child and then made a debut in icarian acts together with his father, and in roller skating with his aunt Estela. In his long career, he performed in the circuses Antonio Francowich, Mário Robattini, Irmãos Azevedo (owned by his family), México Zoo Circus, Circo Show América and acted with the clown Carequinha in the defunct TV TUPI.  When Circo Irmãos Azevedo closed down, he started working as a truck driver in other circuses, but only for a short period. Soon later, in 1997, his uncle Pirajá Azevedo invited him to join the Instructor's team at National Circus School. Latur had spent his whole life touring and he was not sure if he would get use to it. Even so, he accepted the new job for one month, but since then he has been teaching there. Latur married Guimar Alves Azevedo, whose parents work as mechants in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro. Their three children - Ana Claudia, Mércia and Laredo Azevedo performed circus acts until their youth.
